An extra large bird to bring a smile to your face! This blue tit is handcrafted from mostly salvaged materials using my unique methods and particular Posh Paper Mache mix. Be sure to visit the Blog page of my website where you can see how my sculptures are made! We often have blue tits breeding in the garden which is lovely to see! This birdy is formed using reclaimed newspapers and paper mache with wood and metal legs. The work is varnished but will be ephemeral outdoors - my tests show they can remain happy for up to three years outside, which is a comparable lifespan to a willow sculpture - artwork should last indefinitely if placed inside. This rural creature measures 10cm w by 32cm l by 38cm h approximately. Each piece is unique and will vary a little in appearance from the photos, meaning you will receive a distinctive character! Every one is made to order, individually sculpted then hand-painted and decoupaged with fun snippets from magazines or some of my hand-painted papers. I offer a selection of larger animal designs and one off pieces and I am busy adding to my mini animal collection. Concentrated heat e.g. placing your sculpture near a fire or radiator should be avoided, its construction uses hot glue which could possibly melt near a heat source. Why not have it personalised for free? There is space for a few words on it's body so that you can make it even more special by adding a name or significant phrase. Alternatively you can buy selected template designs from my Blog or book into a workshop with me if you would like to try making something yourself with my guidance!
