Not everyone loves a seagull, but I do! My Grandmother used to feed her tame seagull, throwing treats from the back door of The Palms onto the roof of the wash house opposite, whilst yelling “Gully, gully, gully!” like a mad woman, to attract the birds attention! On our journey to the sea from the West Midlands, as soon as I hear the scream of a seagull I know that I will soon be on the Isles of Scilly again. Seven Seagulls is an original acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas, set off by a simple white tray frame. The bird characters in the painting are also created as Posh Paper Mache mixed media sculptures which look great on a shelf or windowsill. Prints, tea towels and greetings cards are usually available of this image - find them in the main shop on my website or just get in touch.
Shipping is tricky to arrange for large items on Scilly. I can personally pack and ship this painting for you when I next visit the Islands in springtime. The shipping fee will be additional and by weight - approximately £25 (U.K.).
